I’m Melissa, the photographer behind Boudoir By Lawler. I believe the best boudoir images happen when you feel comfortable enough to stop thinking about the camera and simply be present in your own skin. I’ll guide you through every pose and expression while leaving room for your personality to come through, whether that feels soft and romantic, dark and cinematic, bold, artistic, or completely your own. My goal is never to turn you into someone else. It’s to create photographs that still feel unmistakably like you.

HAIR & MAKEUP
Your session begins with professional hair and makeup so you have time to settle in, get comfortable and feel camera ready before we ever start shooting.
FULLY GUIDED POSING
You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I guide you through everything, from expression and body placement to the smallest details that make an image come together.
YOUR IMAGES, YOUR WAY
A few days after your session, we meet again in person or via zoom for your private reveal, where you choose the images and products you love most. Whether that means digitals, an album, or a combination of both, what you purchase is completely up to you.
